Training

Open studio

Open Studio is drop-in aerial training time that is supervised by a safety monitor, but not led by a coach. A monitor is present to ensure rules and safe training practices are followed, but there is no instructor present to teach new skills or provide coaching.

Open Studio is a great for practicing skills you’ve already learned, rehearsing acts, and training alongside aerial friends. This is not the right environment for learning brand new skills or practicing skills you’re uncertain about. These activities should be done with a coach in class or during private lessons.

Requirements

  • Primarily 18+
    • Advanced youth students ages 16–17 may be considered with at least 1 year of training at New Moon
  • Beginners must have completed the ABC Series or equivalent
  • For students with experience elsewhere, approval is required at first visit via a short, free evaluation. Schedule your evaluation by emailing us at  info@newmoonmovementarts.com
  • All participants must sign a liability release
